JCI MCE English Debate & Oregon Debate Workshop was held on 7 April 2024 at JCI MCE Secretariat. We were honoured to have Darren Lee, 2021 Malacca Toastmasters President and 2023 National Convention (NATCON) Judge to be our Head Trainer. We were also very privileged. We also had Bryan Teh, professional emcee and Director of EBA Academy as well as Gregory Ng, our very own 2024 President and 2022 JCI MCE ACSC Debate Team Semi-Finalist to share with us about public speaking and debating. This workshop covered Debating skills, including aspects such as speech writting, vocal variety, body language, speech evaluation and brainstorming. Participants were given a chance to showcase their talents and skills in the English debate & Oregon Debate contests that were conducted during the workshop.
